More About Coir Grow Bags

The Coir Growbag consists of pressed coir peat or pressed coir husk chips or a mixture of peat and chips. Available with 100% coco peat, or with mixes of peat and husk chips in ratios ranging from 80% – to 50%. The husk chips could vary with crushed HC to 3 – 6 mm size, depending on for example plant type, area or country of growing, temperate, etc. Availability of water as well as drainage is required, which affects porosity.

Growbag 1000 = 100 % natural material
Growbag 2000 = 70-80 % natural material and 20-30 % crush
Growbag 3000 = 60-70 % crush and 30-40 % natural material
Growbag 4000 = 100 % crush
